Label My Board lays out your consumer unit or distribution board exactly as it's wired and prints colour-coded labels that fit it. It works with DIN-rail boards, the kind used across the UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, whether you're an electrician labelling a new install or a homeowner finally working out which breaker is which.
Main switches, RCDs, RCBOs, MCBs, surge protectors, AFDDs, isolators, timers and blanks are all available, 1 to 4 modules wide. Labels are laid out in millimetres and written in CMYK so colours print strongly on a home inkjet. Your board is saved in your browser only: there's no account and nothing is uploaded unless you choose to share it.
Label My Board works with DIN-rail boards, where each module is usually 17.5 mm wide, and you can change the module width if yours differs. Label windows vary a lot in height, so print the test-fit sheet first: it shows the strip at several heights so you can pick the one that fits your board.
Print the PDF at Actual size or 100%, never Fit to page. Every page has a 100 mm ruler: measure it before cutting. If it isn't exactly 100 mm, your printer scaled the page.
Each colour shows what a circuit feeds: red for the main switch, slate for surge protection and RCDs, yellow for lighting, blue for sockets, orange for kitchen appliances, purple for heating and water, green for outdoor and outbuildings, and teal for solar, batteries and EV chargers. The name on each label is always the authority, and labels stay readable in black and white.
